Windows 2012 R2 hangs at splash screen after reboot on Esxi-5.5
It turns out this is a known issue and VMware has released KB2092807 to address it. Each processor has a TimeStampCounter (TSC) which is essentially an odometer that counts how many cycles the processor has run since its last reboot.

1.             Web Client: Settings -> VM Options -> Advanced -> Edit Configuration
2.             monitor_control.enable_softResetClearTSC


Set the value to "true" as shown in the following snapshot.

Troubleshooting IMAP Connectivity: Unable to authenticate to IMAP server. IMAP command failed: Login failed.

The first step is to check if the  Courier  IMAP server is accepting connections. Open a terminal window and type: telnet hostname 143 Replace  hostname  with the  IMAP  server's  DNS  name. In coexistence environment (exchange 2007-2013), we could set Exchange 2013 ActiveSync External URL to mail.yourexternaldomain.com and set Internal URL to mail.yourinternaldomain.com .
