Exchange 2013 will always try to proxy a request to other CAS 2013 servers or legacy versions, especially for Exchange 2010. Unable to change Windows Update settings: "SOME SETTINGS ARE MANAGED BY YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR Solution: 1.    Click Start, type gpedit.msc and press Enter. 2.    Locate to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer. 3.    Double-click “Security Zones: Do not allow users to change policies” on the right pane 4.    Choose “Not Configured” and click OK. 5.    Restart the computer and test the result. You can also delete the registry key “Security_HKLM_only” under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings directly.

"The Windows Process Activation Service service terminated with the following error: The system cannot find the file specified." Note:   World Wide Web Publishing Service service depends on the Windows Process Activation Service Solution: The  applicationHost.config  file was messed up. For me the file was completely empty. Not a line of code to be found. Luckily IIS takes backups that can be found in  C:\INETPUB\HISTORY . Under here you will see several folders with a prefix of  CFGHISTORY . The folder with the highest revision number will be your latest backup. Copy this file and overwrite the existing file at  C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\INETSRV\CONFIG .

Windows 2012 R2 hangs at splash screen after reboot on Esxi-5.5 It turns out this is a known issue and VMware has released  KB2092807   to address it. Changing virtual directory URLs by using EAC removes all forms of authentication in Exchange Server 2016 (CU 2) Symptoms If you change the MAPI virtual directory URLs by using the Exchange Admin Center (EAC), all forms of authentication are removed from the MAPI virtual directory. Resolution To fix this issue, install  Cumulative Update 4  for Exchange Server 2016 or a later  cumulative update for Exchange Server 2016 . Status Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
